THE OPPORTUNITY- ER Physician

Permanent/full time – Marion, Virginia

 

Ready for a change? We have an exciting opportunity available for a Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Marion, VA. This facility is very stable and well established and has a great reputation in the community. The focus is on providing the highest level of quality patient care. The Emergency Department has 24 hour emergency physician coverage augmented by 12 hours of NP/PA coverage. The ED provides treatment to over 17,000 patients annually.

 

THE DETAILS:

-12 hour shifts

– Option of direct, long term PRN position (minimum of 6 shifts per month – less credentialing) or a permanent position

– Direct, long term PRN pay rate is $260/hour

– 17,000 annual patient visits

– On call services include urology and general surgery

– Bedside ultrasound

– Vocera communication

– 24 hour on-site lab

– 24/7 Radiology and CT Techs

 

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

– All MDs and DOs must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia

– DEA with Virginia address required

– Board certification with at least 2-3 years of ED experience

– ACLS, ATLS, PALS required

– ABEM boarded / eligible
