THE LOCATION: Choice of Houlton, Dover-Foxcroft, Patten, Millinocket or Brownville, Maine

Ready for a change?  We have an opening for a Dental Director to join our team in Maine.  Responsibilities include the supervision of all dental providers, dental services and programs provided by our health center.  You will be leading in the development of policies, services, and procedures to improve the dental care in the areas where we have clinics and to improve the utilization of services. You will work as a part of the clinical care team to ensure effective and integrated, quality care is provided at all times.

THE DETAILS

-Direct supervision of dentists and dental hygienists and indirect supervision of other dental staff

-Direct, lead, coach and assess the performance of all staff members within the department.

-Lead and direct the dental programs quality improvement initiatives.

-Manage and direct all ancillary clinical services related to oral health.

-Lead, develop, and participate in the dental training, education and consultation to the dental staff to maximize potential and engagement

-Receive, document, and investigate patient complaints; work in conjunction with the clinical practice director to determine appropriate resolution

-Participates as a member of the Credentialing Committee and oversees and recommends for board approval, dental privileges.
