THE OPPORTUNITY: Hospitalist

Permanent / full time / employed

THE LOCATION: Bedford, PA

 

Ready for a change? We have an exciting opportunity available for a BC/BE Hospitalist to join our team in Bedford, Pennsylvania. This focus is on providing the highest level of quality patient care and the staff is very friendly and team oriented to work with.  There is plenty of room for professional growth and advancement.

 

THE DETAILS

 

** Acute care general hospital with units for medical, surgical, intensive care, coronary care, and telemetry services
** Facility offers a variety of diagnostic capabilities including: CT scan, MRI and lithotripsy, a cardiopulmonary rehab program, an outpatient procedure unit and an ambulatory surgical unit
** The emergency facilities include 24-hour, in-house coverage by Emergency Medicine physicians and a licensed heliport for emergency transport
** Trauma center affiliation
** The Hospitalist program  has more than 23 hospital medicine physicians and 12+ advanced practice providers
** The facility has a 4-bed ICU with a larger, affiliated facility available for transfer service to tertiary care
** The Hospitalist team currently consists of 2 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers
** Competitive compensation package

** Work schedule: 7 on / 7 off
** Adult only, no OB or pediatrics
** One hospital only
** Relocation assistance is available

QUALIFICATIONS

 

** All physicians must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE Residents, only)

** Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (or eligible)

** Physicians right out of residency or fellowship are welcome!

 

**All physicians must be US citizens or Green Card holders
