THE OPPORTUNITY: Medical Director – Psychiatrist
THE LOCATION: Durham, North Carolina
We have an opportunity available for a board certified/eligible psychiatrist to join our team as Medical Director in Durham, North Carolina. This is a contracted position for 1-day per week with oversight and clinical supervision of advanced practice providers.
Responsibilities include being fully engaged with the clinical team and active in the development of the clinical oversight of our behavioral health and substance abuse programs. You will also directly supervise complex cases and you will be responsible for reviewing the clinical provision of services for appropriate referral patterns within and outside of the agency. You will also be responsible for the implementation of evidence based and best practice models of care, review of labs and toxicology screens and oversight of COVID protocols and implementation.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
-Must be a North Carolina licensed MD or DO
-Board certification/board eligibility in psychiatry is required
-At least one year of psychiatrist experience is required
